David O'leary:

"We paid them too much respect in the first half. We improved after the break and there was a spell at the start of the second half where we might have done something."

"Lucas Radebe has an injury to his neck and has been taken to hospital. But we don't yet know how serious it is."

"But Barcelona are a fantastic team. We knew what to expect. Having seen their players on television, but you have to actually play against these people to know how good they really are. I'm not looking for excuses and i'm not saying we would have won, but with other players we might have done better. We simply had too many players back home."
